James founded SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING DUBAI after 12 years running paid search across the GCC, MENA, and South Asia. He spent six years as Head of Performance Marketing at a MENA-focused international consultancy, where he oversaw Google Ads accounts in excess of AED 2 million monthly ad spend across real estate, healthcare, financial services, and e-commerce verticals.
He left to build something that did not exist in Dubai's agency market — a paid search specialist agency that only took on UAE-based clients, operated with transparent AED pricing, and was staffed entirely by category experts rather than junior generalists. Every operational policy at SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING DUBAI — from the 30-day rolling contract to the client account ownership standard — was designed by James based on the gaps he observed while working on the agency side.
He holds a BSc in Marketing & Information Systems from University of Manchester and completed his Google Ads certifications in 2014, maintaining continuous active certification ever since. He has been based in Dubai since 2017 and operates from the agency's DIFC office in Dubai International Financial Centre.

Omar is the agency's senior Google Ads strategist, with eight years of experience running high-value campaigns for real estate developers, luxury hospitality groups, and professional services firms across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He previously served as a Performance Marketing Lead for a DIFC-based property investment group managing over AED 800,000 in monthly Google Ads spend.
His specialism is campaign architecture for high-CPC industries — real estate, legal services, and financial products — where keyword match type discipline and negative keyword management are the difference between a 2x and 5x ROAS. He leads Google Ads engagements for the agency's real estate, legal, and finance sector clients.
Priya leads all SEO engagements at the agency, with ten years of technical search experience across e-commerce, healthcare, and financial services in the UAE. She previously held the position of Senior SEO Analyst at a major UAE e-commerce group, where she led Core Web Vitals remediation, international SEO rollouts, and Google Business Profile management for multi-location retail brands.
Her work covers technical audits, schema markup implementation, local SEO for Dubai businesses, E-E-A-T optimisation, and search-focused content strategy. She is the architect of the agency's structured data standards — ensuring every client site is readable by Google's quality raters and crawlers alike.

We are a small, senior team by design. We do not hire generalists and train them into search. We hire people who have already spent years doing this — specifically in UAE and GCC market contexts. These are the four non-negotiables for any new team member.
Active Google Certification
Every team member carries current Google Ads or Google Analytics 4 certification — not historical credentials. Certifications are retaken on expiry without exception. We do not count expired badges.
Minimum 5 Years in Specialism
We do not hire junior generalists. Every team member joins with a minimum of five years of direct, hands-on experience in their declared specialism — Google Ads, SEO, Arabic SEM, e-commerce search, or analytics. Not adjacent experience. That discipline, specifically.
UAE or GCC Market Experience Required
Dubai's market has specific characteristics — bilingual search behaviour, PDPL compliance requirements, seasonal demand patterns, and free zone advertising nuances — that global campaign experience does not automatically prepare someone for. UAE or GCC market background is a hiring prerequisite, not a preference.
Campaign Ownership, Not Support
Every team member is a campaign owner — not a campaign assistant. There are no account managers who relay instructions to an offshore execution team. The person presenting your results is the person who built and managed your campaigns. We hire for autonomy and accountability, not process compliance.
